It's dangerous to go alone!
Maybe you feel like there is no one you can talk to, or no one who would understand what you are going through. Maybe you’ve been dealing with this for a few weeks, or maybe it’s been years of struggle. Whatever your circumstances may be, we’re glad you are reaching out. We are happy to help you. We believe that YOU can be your own superhero, and we can help you discover how to empower yourself.
Katherine and Hannah,
a powerful alliance:
We first met in grad school, and found that we share a passion for clinical work with a social justice focus. We both worked in Community Mental Health settings and have a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, as well as adapting to the particular needs of our clients. We are excited to be working together to help the people we serve live better lives.
This is the way.
Virtual or in person: we offer the flexibility for you to be in the privacy of our office in downtown Royal Oak, or to be anywhere in The Mitten and conveniently connect to our video therapy sessions by computer or via an app on your smartphone.
Important: online therapy is not suitable if you are in a crisis and/or if you are experiencing symptoms or conditions that will require in-person care. Please call your local crisis numbers, or one of the hotline numbers listed on the contact page.
“Katherine is such an AMAZING therapist. She’s incredibly smart, kind, patient and helped me navigate my brain and the world around me. Not only does she listen, but she provides concrete advice and materials/resources to combat my specific issues. She’s truly a gem; look no further!”
